One Dead in Route 33 Crash

Posted on Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at 5:07 am

A woman from East Stroudsburg was killed in a Tuesday morning crash.  The crash involved multiple vehicles on Route 33, which is near the Hamilton Township. For unknown reasons,  one of the drivers crossed the crass median into oncoming traffic.  The car was struck by one vehicle, then hit again by another from the side.   Emergency workers were called to the scene of the accident, where the driver of this vehicle was pronounced dead.

Route 33 had massive delays following the incident.  Police had to clear the wreck as well as conduct an investigation of the scene.  The accident is still under investigation.
