A man from Western Pennsylvania has been sentenced to a minimum of six and a half years to prison in his role in the death of a fire chief. The incident took place on September 12th, 2007.
The fire chief was alerted to a fire at a bar by the man, and while trying to get to the fire the chief had a heart attack and died. The man that alerted the fire chief, had an ulterior motive to alert the police chief. The man had set fire to the bar in an attempt to cover up evidence of his role in a robbery that he committed.
This incident is tragic and shows that committing one bad action can cause a chain of bad events.
