A federal judge has recently delayed a lawsuit that was brought on by the parents of a soldier who lost his life after being electrocuted in Iraq in a shower system that was installed and maintained by KBR Inc.
KBR Inc. is challenging the decision, attempting to claim that the court here has no jurisdiction in military matters. KBR states that it was not responsible for the death of the soldier.
KBR has mentioned in numerous accidents and mistakes that have injured American soldiers. At least 18 people have been electrocuted in Iraq since 2003 because of faulty electrical wiring.
