A Hempfield mother was recently killed after a live electrical line fell on her Tuesday afternoon. The woman was taken to a hospital after the incident, where she later died on Friday from her injuries.
The woman had the line on her for at least 10 minutes, because the wire was still live. Emergency officials could not get too the woman until the power was shut off to the line.
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is investigating the accident, and will likely release a report on the incident in the future.
