A former worker at an assisted living facility is being charged with involuntary manslaughter after serving an Alzheimer's patient extremely hot breakfast.
The worker was serving the 79 year-old man Cream of Wheat. The Cream of Wheat was so hot, that it caused burns to the man's mouth, tongue, lips, and throat.
The man who is charged is currently free after posting bail. He will soon have to go to court to face the charge of involuntary manslaughter.
