A police officer from Crafton remains suspended but with pay in his involvement with a hit-and-run accident left one pedestrian dead.
The accident took place in July of 2007, and only until recently has the investigation been able to identify the individual responsible. The pedestrian that was killed was a 24 year-old man.
The man charged in the death attempted to repair his vehicle without others knowing to help hide that an accident took place.
