Distracted Drivers Cause Many Fatal Accident

Posted on August 19th, 2009 No Comments

Distracted drivers are responsible for a large number of accidents on the road. Distracted drivers are also involved in many accidents that end with a person being killed.

Distracted drivers are involved in many serious accidents because they normally have poor reaction time.  A driver that is about to be in an accident and is paying attention to the road is able to make split second decisions that can help reduce the severity of an accident.  Swerving,  slowing down, braking are all important factors that can change the outcome of an accident.  When a driver is unable to do any of these actions and simply plows into another vehicle or person the accident is normally worse.  This and other reasons make distracted drivers a very serious problem.
