A 17-year-old high school senior was killed Sunday night in a hit-and-run when she stepped into the street across from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, authorities said. Results are pending to determine if alcohol was involved in the accident.
Police questioned the woman driving the car, identified by a friend of the student. She was released until the investigation is complete, authorities said. Police are still investigating the incident.
